The Things You Say
By: Scott Fueston

Only love could let,
These things you say to set.
So deep in my heart,
Almost tearing me apart.

If I didn't love you so,
I could easily let these thoughts go.
Can't you see it's because I care,
On my heart these words will wear.

Tis because I care,
The words you said brought me such despair.
