A Dream For You
By: Scott Fueston

If I could have a dream,
The dream that I wanted to.
I would lay down and close my eyes,
And make a dream for you.

I would make a world,
With everything you're deserving of.
And I would give to you,
My everlasting love.

In my dream for you,
Everything would go your way.
And I would wish you happy,
Every single day.

I would see your life was perfect,
As the blueness of the sky.
And nobody could ever hurt you,
Or I would make them die.

And in my dream
You would stay,
Just as beautiful as
I see you today.

But in this dream for you,
There will be another.
Because this dream is mine too,
And we will have each other.

And in this dream for us,
Everything would be so gay.
Because any differences between us,
Will suddenly go astray.

It may be just a dream,
But while I dream it feels true.
Tonight I'll close my eyes,
and dream this place for me and you.
