My Best Friend

Thinking back at the first day we met,
We were so shy we didn't say much at all.
looking back it seems so funny,
because now we are having a ball.

They say it's rare to find a true friend,
An old adage I find to still be true.
Your friendship is something I hold dear, and
I feel so lucky to have met you.

Our bond together is extremely special, and
Our frienidship is unique in it's own way.
What we have together is unexpendable,
My feelings for you grow stronger each day.

Friendship is forever,
Especially one like you and I possess.
I am fond of your fun-filled personality, and
Up-beat attitude that never fails to impress.

If in this world there were more people like you,
Certainly it would be a better place.
There's nothing about you I don't love,
You are someone I can not replace.

You are a friend to me and even more,
My words can never express that enough.
Life can be such a treacherous journey,
But without you it would be twice as tough.

Our friendship story will continue growing,
With each and every passing day.
Because I know you'll be by my side,
I'm confident everything will be okay.

You are so dear to me,
You know I will love you untill the end.
I will always be there for you, and
You will always (and forever) be my special friend.
